Lock Down

When the management is out to screw you, there is very little left for us to do, and what ever little is left for us to do would not make much of a difference anyway. After 6 months in Hyderabad, after the hundreds of promises of not forcing us into permanent transfer here, we are finding ourselves in the position where infact we are all getting screwed by the management. If they say straight out that we, the almost one year experienced associates, do not have any say in the matter of transfer, the matter would end there. But at the end of almost all the lines coming out of each manager's mouth, will be the suffix - " At the end of the day, the choice is yours".

So after putting all my acting skills to its ultimate field test, I came out of my Tech managers cubicle smiling after all sentimental acts I put on. It might not have mattered to much in the final outcome of things, but I was not going to leave any of my leaves unturned. Thus came about a long mail incorporating all the formal verbiage that I could cook up without being too obvious (hope those idiots need a dictionary to read it).

Even after all this, I sincerely doubt whether it would make even an iota of difference. The fact of the matter remains... If the management is out to screw you, you are screwed. Period.

Will know the outcome soon enough.. probably by end of day .. or latest by monday. Will update the status soon...
